OUR HISTORY

The originator of Triangle Body Works, Mr. Weir, worked for Nissen Wagon Works. Mr. Nissen was not interested in building truck beds and Mr. Weir saw an unfulfilled need in the marketplace. So, in 1927, he started Triangle Body Works a few blocks from our current location.

The Weir family continued operation and ownership until selling the business to Ronnie Lee in 1984. Mr. Lee ran this family-owned and -operated business until 2015. The Lees built one of the last wooden truck beds during their tenure. It was built for the moving of Leatherheads.

Neil Fishel and Tim Smith purchased the business in January of 2015 and continue the tradition that started nearly a century ago. Our team looks forward to working with you soon and asks that you reach out at your earliest convenience to discuss your needs in further detail; we look forward to lending a hand with our custom metal fabrication services throughout Greensboro & Winston-Salem, NC. We also provide custom truck beds, liftgates, and cross slide toolboxes!
